About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead SQA Engineer who can take end-to-end ownership of product quality.

This is not a role focused only on executing test cases or finding bugs. We need someone who can deeply understand the product, business requirements, client expectations, technical workflows, and potential risks, and become one of the strongest product experts on the team.

The ideal candidate will combine exceptional analytical ability with strong hands-on expertise in automation, manual testing, test API testing, performance testing, and application security / penetration testing.

You should be highly proactive, exceptionally fast, detail-oriented, and comfortable questioning requirements, identifying gaps, and challenging assumptions when necessary.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering, preferably with experience leading QA activities and teams.
• Excellent hands-on expertise in manual, functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong ability to understand complex products, business logic, workflows, integrations, and user journeys.
• Ability to understand client requirements deeply and identify ambiguities, missing requirements, dependencies, edge cases, and potential risks before development begins.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation, including designing scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.
• Practical knowledge of application security and penetration testing, including web applications, APIs, authentication, authorization, session management, and data security.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience in API and integration testing using tools such as Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Experience with performance, load, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.
• Experience mentoring SQA engineers and improving overall QA practices within an engineering team.
• Strong understanding of modern AI-assisted QA and testing tools, with the ability to use AI to improve testing speed, coverage, analysis, and productivity.

• Leadership mindset with the ability to raise the quality standards of the entire engineering team, not only the QA function.
• Strong curiosity and continuous-learning mindset, especially around AI-driven testing, automation, security, and modern quality engineering practices.

• Weekends: Saturday – Sunday
• Salary: BDT 120,000 – BDT 200,000, Monthly Gross (Negotiable, based on  skill set and  expertise
