Icon Deadline: 15 September, 2026

Eight paid weeks. Real commercial experience. A serious start to your career in business development.

A great business professional is not defined by their first job title.

At Inument, we believe they are shaped by how quickly they learn, how carefully they listen, how well they understand a customer’s real problem, and how effectively they turn a promising conversation into a business opportunity.

That is why we created the Inument Emerging Business Talent Program 2026 – an intensive, paid, eight-week internship designed to identify high-potential young professionals and give them a practical start in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, and Growth.

This is a hands-on program. You will not spend eight weeks simply observing other people work. You will conduct market research, identify potential customers, generate and qualify leads, contribute to outreach campaigns, and participate in real business conversations.

You will work alongside experienced professionals and learn how an international technology company finds customers, builds relationships, develops partnerships, and grows its business.

Our portfolio includes Inument Outsourcing, Hire-a-Mind, Gifty, Shopiment, Inument Local, and other emerging initiatives, each serving different customers, markets, and business needs.

What you will do

During the program, you will:

  • Research markets, industries, companies, and potential customers
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Support prospecting, outreach, and lead-generation activities
  • Learn how to understand a customer’s needs and business challenges
  • Help prepare outreach messages, proposals, presentations, and business cases
  • Use data and AI tools to make research and prospecting faster and more effective
  • Participate in customer and partner conversations
  • Work on practical commercial challenges with measurable outcomes
  • Receive regular coaching and feedback from experienced team members
  • Present your learning and results to Inument’s leadership team

What you will learn

By the end of the eight weeks, you should have a practical understanding of:

  • How technology companies identify and approach potential customers
  • How to research a market and recognize commercial opportunities
  • How effective prospecting and lead qualification work
  • How to communicate with customers professionally
  • How sales pipelines and partnerships are developed
  • How AI can support research, communication, and business development
  • How to turn an unclear business problem into an actionable plan
  • How to work with ownership, discipline, and accountability

Who can apply?

We welcome applications from:

  • Students currently in the final semester of their undergraduate degree
  • Recent graduates who want to begin a career in business development
  • Candidates from BBA, CSE, Mathematics, Economics, or other relevant disciplines

These backgrounds often develop logical thinking and the ability to break down complex, messy problems—two essential skills in business development.

However, your academic subject alone will not determine your potential. We are more interested in how you think, communicate, learn, and take action.

You do not need previous sales experience. We can teach you the process. You need to bring curiosity, commitment, and the willingness to learn by doing.

What matters to us

You could be a strong fit if:

  • You think clearly and enjoy solving problems
  • You are genuinely curious about technology and business
  • You communicate confidently and write clearly
  • You listen carefully and ask thoughtful questions
  • You enjoy researching companies, industries, and markets
  • You are comfortable working with data
  • You collaborate well with others
  • You take ownership instead of waiting for detailed instructions
  • You learn unfamiliar concepts quickly
  • You respond positively to feedback and improve
  • You have used AI tools and understand how they can improve your work—this is a strong advantage
